We used this number on a few of our caps and hoodies with a wink to Pablo Escobar. When he entered prison his mugshot was taken while he was holding his prison number, 128482. With these loop holes he demanded to make a prison of his own choice. It looked like Pablo had been a great business analyst, because here he took advantage of loop holes of certain laws in which was described how the prison should look like. That’s where he decided to build his own prison with some standards in mind. While the things were pretty interesting here because Pablo had a right to decide in which prison he wanted to go. However, when he went to prison the situation in Columbia was pretty tense and arresting Pablo was looking more like a political win for the governments of Columbia and the USA. Even though he was one of the most notorious kingpins in history, he still has been an inspiration for numerous movies, books, and even in Netflix series as well recently. Later in the early 1970s, he started working for drug criminals and kidnapped people for ransom. In his youth he started his criminal career with selling illegal cigarettes and fake lottery tickets. A few of his nicknames were: “El Patrón” and “The king of Cocaine”. He was head of The Medellín cartel and a well-known Colombian criminal who was born on 1st December 1949 in Rionegro, Colombia. Pablo Escobar is undoubtedly the most powerful drug trafficker of the 80s and early 90s.
